Footloose Auditions

Audition Dates: Tuesday, March 11, and Wednesday, March 12, 2025 (6-9pm)

Audition Location: Saint Mary’s College - Madeleva Hall - Room 308

Show Dates: June 13-15, 2025

Show Location: Century Center - Bendix Theatre

Age Ranges: 7th-12th Grader

Footloose is a musical based on the 1984 film of the same name. It tells the story of a teenager who moves from the city to a small town where dancing is banned, and encourages his classmates to defy the local preacher. The show features an Oscar-nominated score, including hits like "Holding Out for a Hero" and "Let's Hear It for the Boy," and new songs written for the stage. 

You only need to come to one night of auditions, and there is no preparation needed. If you fill out the digital form, you will not need to fill one out at auditions.

If cast, there will be a $75 production fee per cast member. This fee will be used towards production expenses, including costumes, props, sets, tech and more. Even with this in place, it is our commitment and mission to provide access to the arts for EVERY kid. Payment plans will always be available and additional support can be granted on an as need basis.

Rehearsals for the production will take place starting March 31, and will be held weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with occasional Saturday rehearsals as well.
